Wash the Amla and steam it for 15 minutes
Grate the Amla after cooling down completely
Heat a steel pan with ghee or oil, then add grated Amla, jaggery, sugar, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chili powder, black salt, red chili powder, and dry ginger powder
Cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes until the consistency is perfect
Add watermelon seeds or cashew nuts (optional) and mix well
Turn off the gas and let it cool down completely
