Malai(Cream) Kulfi is an Indian ice cream often described as traditional Indian ice cream made from milk, sugar and flavored with cardamon. It is eaten all over India and loved by one and all. It is easy to make and does not require any special ingredients. Try it. Enjoy it with friends and family

Ingredients

  • 1000 ml milk powder
  • 60 ml Sugar
  • 3 tbsp almond milk powder
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Almonds
  • 1/4 tsp Fennel Seeds

Instructions

    Take 1 liter milk

    Take 6 tbsp Sugar, 3 tbsp almond powder, 1/4 tbsp crushed cardamom, 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, 1/2 cup dry fruits (almonds and walnuts)

    Take 1 liter milk in a pan and boil on medium flame

    Heat the milk till it comes to boil.

    Then lower the flame and keep boiling the milk to make it thick. Keep stirring the milk continuously or else it might burn and stick to the bottom of the pan.

    Grind the peanuts coarsely

    After the milk has become sufficiently thick add the grinded peanuts to the milk. Keep the stirring the mixture continuously

    Add almond milk powder to the mixture and keep stirring. Let the mixture for about 10 min

    Add sugar to it. keep stirring the mixture continuously. Add cardamon. Boil for another 20 25 min on low flame.

    Give the mixture a quick stir.

    Let the mixture cool down at room temperature.

    Transfer it to a mould. Let it freeze overnight.

    Get the ice cream out and put it in water for a minute

    Rub it with your palms so that the kulfi comes out easily
