
Peanut halwa Recipe | Moongfali Ka Halwa

Halwa is a sweet dish famous in all parts india in different forms. Halwa is a generic term for an indian dessert. Halwa can be made from Wheat flour (Aata Halwa), gram flour (besan halwa), semolina (sooji halwa). The recipe shared today is made from peanut (moongfali halwa). It is easy to make. Enjoy it with friends and family.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp ghee/oil
- 1 cup peanuts
- 6 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Almonds
- 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
- 500 ml milk powder
Instructions

Take 1 tsp ghee ( clarified butter) in a pan.

Add 1 cup peanut to it.

Mix and fry together at low flame till the mixture turns golden brown.

Add 500 ml milk to the mixture and let it boil. Keep stirring it occasionally.

After the the mixture has turned semi solid like a pudding add 5-6 spoons of sugar to it and mix it well. Cook it for 2-3 min.

Add 3-4 almonds and 1 cardamon. Mix it well for a couple of minutes.

Stop cooking. Add dry fruits of your choice and serve hot.
