
Palak Paneer Recipe

Ingredients
- 250 gm Spinach
- 250 gm Paneer - 1 piece
- 2 tbsp ghee/oil
- 2 nos Bay leaves
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds

Wash spinach 4-5 times with clean water.

Boil spinach for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

Take out spinach from water and put it in cold water to maintain its green color.

Grind spinach with 2 green chilies and some coriander leaves until fine.

Heat a pan, add ghee or oil, cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves, dry red chilies, onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, kashmiri red chili powder, and dry fenugreek leaves.

Fry spices for 3-4 minutes or until oil gets separated from spices.

Add spinach paste to it, add water, mix well, cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame.

Add paneer cut in medium pieces and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Turn off the gas and let it cool. Serve hot with roti, paratha, puri or rice.
