
Kadhai paneer | How to make Kadhai Paneer (Cottage Cheese)

Kadhai Paneer – paneer (cottage cheese), onion and bell peppers cooked in Indian spices like coriander seeds and dried red chillies. This is where the dish gets its flavors from. Serve it hot and enjoy it with roti (Indian bread made from wheat), paratha or naan (Indian bread made from corn flour).
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup green bell pepper
- 0.5 Onions
- 1 Onions
- 200 gms Paneer - 1 piece
- 1 tsp Roast dry fenugreek
- 1 tsp Water
- 1 tsp Ginger
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tsp Fennel seeds
- 2 Tomato
- 3 Dry red chillies
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp coriander powder
Instructions

Take dried red chillies in pan.

Add coriander seeds roast them for 5 min on medium flame.Let the mixture cool down. Grind the mixture to make it fine powder. Keep it aside

Take 1 tsp oil in a pan.

Add 1/2 diced capsicum.

Add 1 diced onion to it. Fry for some time till the onion become a little brown. Do not overcook.Keep it aside.

Take 2 tsp oil in a pan.

Add 1 tsp finely chopped ginger and 1 green chilly,

Add 1 green chilly to it.

1 finely chopped onion and fry till the onions turn golden brown.

And 2 tomatoes to it. Cook till the tomatoes become soft and mushy.

Add 1 tsp salt to it.

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp turmeric powder. Also add the masala we had prepared in the first step.

Fry the mixture for a few minutes. Add 100 ml water to the mixture and cook.

Then add about 200 gms of paneer(cottage cheese) and 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves to it.

Add the fried onions and bell pepper we had prepared

Cook till the dish comes to boil. Your kadhai paneer is ready. Serve Hot.
