
Chana Chaat

Chana Chaat is a healthy Indian street-style snack made with boiled black chickpeas, fresh vegetables, lemon juice, and simple spices. It is high in protein and fiber, making it perfect for weight management and evening hunger cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Black chickpeas
- 1/4 cup onion
- 1/4 cup Tomato
- 1/4 cup Cucumber
- 1 teaspoon green chillies
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder teaspoon
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons coriander powder

If not already prepared, soak 1 cup black chickpeas overnight and pressure cook with 3 cups water for 4–5 whistles until soft. Drain completely and let the boiled chickpeas cool.

Transfer the cooled 1 cup boiled black chickpeas into a large mixing bowl.

Add 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1/4 cup finely chopped deseeded tomato, 1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber, and 1 teaspoon finely chopped green chili to the bowl.

Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala, and 1/4 teaspoon black salt over the mixture.

Pour 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and add 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh coriander leaves. Mix everything thoroughly using a spoon until evenly combined.

Transfer the prepared Chana Chaat to a serving bowl and serve immediately. Your Chana Chaat is ready. Enjoy!
