
Shimla Mirchi aur Aloo Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Mustard oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 medium sized Onions
- 4 medium sized Raw potatoes
- 1 medium size Tomato
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2 medium sized Capsicum
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 5 Green Chilies
- 3 tsp salt
Instructions

Heat a pan and add 3-4 tbsp mustard oil.

Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and let it splutter.

Add 2 medium sized onions and fry for just half to one minute on medium flame.

Add 4 medium sized potatoes cut into big pieces, 2-3 finely chopped green chilies, 1 tsp salt, and 2 whole green chilies.

Turn the flame on low to medium and cover it. Cook for 8-10 minutes.

Remove the lid every 2-3 minutes and stir the contents.

Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, and 1 tsp cumin powder.

Add 1.5 tsp salt as per taste.

Cover it again and cook on low flame for 2 more minutes.

Add 1 medium size tomato roughly chopped.

Mix everything well and cover it again. Cook for another 7-8 minutes or until the capsicum is slightly crunchy.

Add 1.5 tsp garam masala and mix well.
