
Shakarkand Ki Kheer

Ingredients
- 400 gms sugarcane
- 1 liter full fat milk
- 10 cashew nuts
- 10 almonds
- 2 spoon ghee
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 crushed

Peel the sugarcane and wash it with water.

Cut the edges of the sugarcane a little.

Grate the sugarcane using a thick hole grater.

Heat a heavy pan and add 1 big spoon of ghee in it.

Add cashew nuts and almonds to fry in the pan for 3-4 minutes on low flame.

Fry the sugarcane in the remaining ghee for about 5-6 minutes on medium to high flame, stirring continuously.

Add a full liter of full fat milk in the pan and stir well.

Boil the kheer for 3-4 minutes on medium to high flame, then turn the gas flame to low.

Cook the kheer on low flame for about 18-20 minutes, stirring it once every 3-4 minutes.

Add sugar in the kheer and mix well.

Add fried cashew nuts, cardamom powder and mix everything well.

Cook the kheer on low flame for another 5-7 minutes.
