Momo Sauce or momo chutney recipe is a must to have with any momo recipe that is prepared. Try this easy and fast recipe to enhace the taste of any momo.
Ingredients
- 8 cloves garlic - 4 cl
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- 4 Tomato
- 15 Dry red chillies
- 1 tsp salt

For the Momo Sauce, we will need 4 medium sized tomatoes

We will need 15-20 dried red chillies and 6-8 cloves of garlic

Give a cross cut on the top the tomatoes. This will help to peal the skin out easily once the tomatoes are boiled.

Add the tomatoes, chillies and garlic cloves to hot boiling water.

Boil the tomatoes, red chillies and garlic cloves for 12 to 15 minutes.

After they are boiled, peel the tomato skin off. Also cut the chili stem. Add everything to a blender

Grind the mixture to form a paste.

Take 2 tsp oil in a pan. Let it heat for minute.

Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste to it and fry for a few seconds.

Add the puree that we created to it and let it cook.

Add 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp sugar to it.

Let the mixture cook till you get the desired consistency.

Your Momo Sauce/Chutney is ready. Let it cool down before serving. You can use this with any dish. We will be posting the momo recipe soon.
