Ingredients

  • 1 kg red carrots
  • 4 tablespoon(s) ghee/oil
  • 1 little Saffron
  • 10 -12 Almonds
  • 10 -12 Almonds
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 200 grams Sugar
  • 100 grams Homemade mawa (Khoya)
  • 1 teaspoon Whole spices (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves)
  • 1 little Nutmeg
  • 1 cups milk powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

    Peel and wash the carrots.

    Cut the carrots into 3-4 parts.

    Heat a pressure cooker with ghee and add the chopped carrots.

    Fry the carrots for 8-10 minutes on medium-high heat.

    Add saffron threads and salt, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

    Close the lid of the cooker and cook until 2-3 whistles.

    Heat a pan with ghee and fry cashew nuts and almonds.
